The Production Model
Organize legal production by the work being done, the judgment it requires, and the handoff that follows.
PI production often slows at the handoffs: intake information becomes file work, records and treatment become demand inputs, and pre-litigation files become litigation work. When ownership and review standards change at each transition, queues become difficult to see and manage.
Telamanis organizes that work into three distinct production lanes. Each lane has defined responsibilities, a review path, escalation rules, and reporting so the firm can see what is moving, what is blocked, and what still requires attorney judgment.
A firm can begin with the lane creating the most operational drag, then connect adjacent work only where it improves control. Work follows a defined input, owner, SOP, quality check, exception path and next handoff. Approved records, tasks and status stay in the firm’s working systems. A manual handoff is agreed explicitly; it is not presented as a software integration.
Each lane has a different job. The operating controls stay coordinated across the handoffs.
An assigned intake/file-development role reviews approved intake information, follows up on missing details and organizes the matter in the firm’s system. The output is a documented file-development handoff, with eligibility and legal decisions routed to the firm.
A records/demand support role tracks treatment, requests records and bills, identifies gaps and prepares reviewed chronology and demand work. Missing information is escalated; the attorney controls approval and sending.
An assigned litigation-support role organizes approved discovery, evidence and deposition materials against task checklists. Deadline exceptions are escalated and reviewed preparation work passes to the attorney for strategy and final approval.
Production support
